There was a June Lovers club so I figured I'd start the Mason chapter here on PF.

I pull for any SMU coach especially those that wins. He starts winning, I'm his biggest fan. Just call me sunshiner and part of the problem in advance.
Other than winning, he has done a remarkable job thus far. Anyone that witness NTSU saw a SMU team give up. At least Mason has changed that.

Not only did they give up, they gave up in the 1st quarter!!!
Unfortunately, I don't think that he has enough time to make enough changes to roll off a number of wins. But, I expect a competitive game against Cinci and a few wins.

What's so remarkable about losing?

Somebody pass me another Mason jar.
I'll be a member the of Mason Lovers Club (except for secret societies, weird handshakes and triumphalism).

In fact, I think we need to serve all beer at the stadium in mason jars adorned with TM's mustache.

Love the coach that changes attitude of team, works everyday to get better and has a goal.
If Mason gets this team playing well. I'm good to join.
The guy works for his money.

I was a Mason fan long before he got this gig. He's been an SMU person since he got here. I'll support him for however long he is here... and then I'll support the next guy.

On another site, it was reported that practice today was much like those under June Jones.

Maybe 'today', but much different overall since June left. Literally everything better since June left, except of course the June zombies still left on staff.
55 days and counting

Coach Mason is working hard, not only with the team, but also to keep the fans informed. Here is an opportunity to ask questions and hear what his plans are for the upcoming games.
Tomorrow Evening
Coach Mason's Mustang Hour. 6:00 to 7:00 October 16th at Mannys Uptown Tex Mex,
3521 Oak Grove
(Lemmon Ave. & Oak Grove)

Coach Mason is in a really awkward position. He's never seemed like the guy to just mail it in. I wish him luck wherever he ends up after this season.
