GP says no but Twitter says otherwise. Social media is awesome!

“@davidubben: TCU coach Gary Patterson tells me there's no truth to a report that Trevone Boykin had wrist surgery Monday and will miss 4-6 weeks.”

“@Keith_Whitmire: I guess it was another Trevone Boykin who had wrist surgery, not the TCU quarterback. Easy mistake.”

Patterson is famous for not disclosing injury but he's supposedly practicing today

Does anyone remember when Gary Patterson kicked 5 people off the team for failing a drug test and the media reported that 82 had actually failed that test?

Here's what he said back then:

You want an exact number and the world is not about exact numbers. I know what the exact number is. Somewhere between that 5, and maybe it's five, maybe it's 82

My point is that Patterson is rarely up-front with the media

He certainly won't sweat as much up in Michigan.
