After watching the performance today, and having talked with Coach Mason, I've come to the realization that despite his decency, character, and meaningful intent, he is clueless when it comes to understanding what it takes to win. It's not an easy job, but a good coach would have seen this coming as an assistant who "recruited" many of the players.

Nice guys aren't necessarily good coaches.

We have a team of high school players not ready for prime time.

But he's a nice guy!

he's just trying to hold this thing together and do what he has been asked to do; we all know if he was destined to be a head coach that he would have already made it to that level by this point in his career. I don't see any need to bash the guy
