Thankfully, no one watched our game. TCU's rating very close to UT's. That's impressive.

Here are preliminary Dallas-Fort Worth TV ratings for some of the top Saturday games:

(Each rating point represents about 26,000 homes)

Kansas State 23, Texas 0, ESPN @11 a.m. — 5.0

Rice 41, North Texas 21, FSSW @11 a.m. — 0.4

TCU 82, Texas Tech 27, Ch. 4 @2:30 p.m. — 4.6

West Virginia 34, Oklahoma State 10, ESPN @2:30 p.m. –1.6

Michigan State 35, Michigan 11, Ch. 8 @2:30 p.m. 1.6

Mississippi State 45, Kentucky 31, Ch. 11 @2:30 p.m. — 3.0

LSU 10, Ole Miss 7, ESPN @6:15 p.m. — 4.2

Ohio State 31, Penn State 24, Ch. 8 @7 p.m. — 1.9

I'm just curious if our ratings beat unt/rice. Unt is proving epically terrible by the way.

You're wrong. Two weeks ago, the UT/OU and the TCU/Baylor games dominated the SEC games, including the A&M/Ole Miss game.

Oklahoma 31, Texas 26, Channel 8 @11 a.m. — 13.4

Baylor 61, TCU 58, Channel 8 @2:30 p.m. — 12.6

Ole Miss 35, Texas A&M 20, ESPN @8 p.m. — 5.4

Miss St. 38, Auburn 23, Channel 11 @2:30 p.m. — 3.3

Alabama 14, Arkansas 13, ESPN @5 p.m. — 2.2

Notre Dame 50, North Carolina 43, Channel 5 @2:30 p.m. — 0.8

Cougar King, you're logged in as Big12 and confusing Houston ratings with the Dallas ratings.

I don't get the sense anybody in DFW cares about the SEC.

It's all Texas, Oklahoma, and Baylor, with some TCU sprinkled in.

I honestly never even hear about A&M anymore.

How did they "barely beat" TCU/OU when they were closer to surpassing BU/UT then they were to getting pass by TCU/OU?

I think it's pretty foolish, personally, to think the SEC was going to just take over right away simply because A&M is in it. There's too many Big 12 fans in DFW that are too butt hurt about the SEC being a better conference for the better part of a decade to have the SEC dominate.
