Does anyone know who the starter will be for Tulsa? I would like to see the transfer play an entire game. I like that he can run the ball a little and move the chains.

But it sucks that I could achieve a higher completion percentage...

Well, we have scored 49 points, and punted 43 times. That's going to be a close race by the end of the season.

The starting QB for Tulsa is Dane Evans.

I assume the starter is Krstich. Mason seems to be coming around on the fact that Davis obviously brings an athletic element, but he sounds to me like he sees Davis as a change of pace guy, at least so far. I don't know if the questions are around Davis's arm, his knowledge of the offense, or something else. He and Cassel both have a stronger arm than Krstich, but Krstich seems most comfortable and seems tough and smart and maybe knows the offense the best.

I think all of us had high hopes for Davis, but man he has looked bad when he has come into games. Completely lost and over-improvising because of it. His body of work at UNT was particularly brutal, I didn't see the last game so maybe he has improved?

Mason is quoted in the DMN saying Davis took the majority of snaps with the first team offense during the off week. He still says it is a game time decision. Read into however you like

bigger question is "will it even have an impact on the outcome?"

Am I missing something here? What do we possibly have to lose by letting Davis play an entire game? The only thing that is certain is that Krstich running June's offense doesn't work!!! Is anyone still trying to argue that Krstich gives us the best chance to win when we're 0-7 and have scored 49 points in 7 games?

INSANITY: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

If these coaches cared one iota about winning, they would have used the last 2 weeks to make some offensive changes to at least pretend they're committed to achieving different results.

If we see Krstich march out there and throw a 3 yard out......handoff for 1 yard up the middle.....followed by a 3 yard curl for the standard 3 & out on the first drive (I can honestly say I wouldn't be surprised)

If they have to dumb the offense down to 10-15 plays, with a heavy dose of zone-read, and let Davis run it 40 times then so be it. June's entire offense can't be more than 20 plays from what we've all seen over the years. Force Davis to throw it 60 times in the Run & Sh*t and of course he's going to fail.

How crazy would it be if we win 4 games with Matt Davis?

I'm on your side footbaldad. what would it hurt to allow Davis to play one whole game?
