We have Nlemchi and Davis going. Now put in Malone or Walker for Nelson, run all deep to intermediate routes and go with zone read/play action the rest of the game. Spread the field and move the ball.

Does the defense have any athletes to be freed?

At least the current coaches seem to be willing to adapt the offense to what talent we have on the roster. An improvement IMHO.

Unfortunately Tulsa seems to have better athletes than we do.

Not quite enough though. Put all of the deep threats in there. Run all mid to long routes. Still too many routes close to the line, it doesn't buy us anything. And we really only attempted three deep passes. Send them all deep, run the RB on flares and screens, that is fine, but just open room for Davis. Create space and let him either throw if the safeties don't drop back or run if they do. Forget about possession crap.

You can make this game really easy. Send everyone deep and run the RB on a flare and all you have to do is watch the safeties and MLB and decide what to do. Even if they keep the MLB inside as a spy, I'll take Davis 1v1 against a MLB any day.

As for athletes on defense, I continue to be stunned at how bad we are at all three levels. D-line, LB, and secondary.

As another note, the Special teams obviously cost us a lot in this game, but if we don't call that stupid reverse in the first half this game has a different score.

We can't block long enough for intermediate routes much less deep routes.

Stop suspending athletes for victimless crap (IE: Niemchi smoking weed).

And this.

And get your major impact players eligible instead of worrying about some stupid history class or whatever the hell it is.

Can you imagine how the season would have turned out if they had just let him play?
