The plain red helmet looked cheap to me.

I am scared to death we are going to not wear the white helmet and blue jersey for homecoming.

dffh- you probably wouldn't be able to see it anyway because of the 'fog of war'.

Those 60's unis look great! Hopefully we'll use them on special occasions for years to come.

As far as the red helmets go I prefer the chrome. I agree that the plain red looked cheap. Of course they were cheap as they just wrapped them in some stick on material.

I think the white with red mustang and red and blue stripes should be the official helmet, but the red chrome is good for an alternate look from time to time.

the red chromes aren't bad but I prefer our classic white.

Any of you guys know why our mustang logo continues to be so small? I know we've gone to these larger safety-type helmets like everyone else but you would think the athletic dept. would enlarge our 'running mustang' to match size-for-size. The mustang is way too small.

The plain red to which I was referring was the 68-72 helmet, not the recently wrapped style. I just did not like the red chrome but am willing to be in the non vocal minority on this subject.

And I do prefer the white over them all.

They might look better on an overcast day. It was kind of painful to watch the glare on the cloudless sky

I'm actually a lot more OK with the chrome red helmets than I would have expected.
But our regular helmet is the best in the nation. No need to mess with it. Ever.

I am entitled to my opinion just like you are entitled to yours. And I like the red helmets more than the white ones and the reason is none of your business.
