Many were griping about SEC dominating by getting 2 or 3 teams and now with their cannibalism they may well end up with none.

Clearly we already need to expand to a 8 team playoff since Baylor beat TCU head to
head

Who cares? We need to start worrying about us.

I have predicted this forever. Hard for an overwhelming to emerge from so many worthy adversaries.

Yep the SEC insisted that the best teams even if they weren't champions had to be eligible for Playoffs or they wouldn't agree

TCU over Baylor is absolutely absurd. Baylor won the head to head matchup and each team has one loss.

They ranked Minnesota top 25 to justify TCU in the top 4

No, by absurd rules TCU beat a top 10 team who will not be top 10 when Baylor plays them

Since when does HEAD TO HEAD matter less?!?! So far year one of the playoff is the same old mess.

TCU got an unfair bump from 25 to top 10 after beating the now unranked OU sooners which were #4 at the time. They also beat a no longer ranked West Virginia and Oklahoma State. By the time Baylor plays KSU and OSU, the wins won't have as much weight.

It's another bad system. I don't respect or trust for anyone on that committee.
I don't agree with the system and I would never agree to be a part of it. I hate it.

They are saying Baylor's non-conference schedule-the worst (No. 128) in College football is not good enough in a 4 team national playoff-a wonderful development for college football. I wish they discounted points for scheduling any Division 1AA schools. Tough [deleted] Baylor

TCU played a pansy non-conference schedule too. The fact of the matter is that in the HEAD TO HEAD matchup Baylor was victorious. That should count over anything else barring an inexcusable loss to a garbage opponent. That didn't happen. This committee and this playoff system is just the same joke system in different clothes.
