Insanely bad collapse. We are meant to go 0-12 this season.

Do we get the first pick in the draft next year then?

I kept waiting for someone to make a play in the fourth quarter - a sack, a tackle for loss, a tough catch to keep a drive going. No such luck.

My mom said that SMU tried to sell her more tickets last night over the phone. We have tickets going unused. The sports programs are too sad. I'm just about to get started so I'll stop myself before I waste time on it. I'm hugely disappointed though and I don't enjoy a relationship with "someone" who doesn't get "it"!

It is becoming a waste of time and an embarrassment. I can't disagree.

My friend texted me during the game that the sideline reporter for CBSSN went tailgating on the boulevard and her last word in the report was that SMU sure knows how to tailgate because she saw more fur coats at one tent than she had ever seen at one place. Just adding insult to injury. SMU - we do what we do.

I saw that segment. The fur coat comment didn't bother me, but what got me was the claim that those folks have been tailgating in the same spot for 35 years! Wait, Ford opened in 2000! Was there tailgating in the same area back in the Ownby days?

Maybe they were tailgating inside a Mcelvaney dorm room

This disaster of a season can easily be summed up:: We have coaches who can't coach or don't really care. We have players who are getting a free education at a top school who can't block, tackle, kick accurately, catch a friggin pass, or defend against the pass. Even teams at DIII schools have more competency than this team has demonstrated.
Thank goodness there are only two more games this year where we will be further embarrassed.
God bless Larry Brown for his desire to teach and build winners 'cause it sure isn't here in the fball program.

I honestly did not even know who we were playing/when the game was until my fiance asked at about 6 PM, "Is SMu playing today?" I then looked it up and switched back and forth between the game. The last play of the game was the first time I felt excitement towards SMU football since week 2, only for that little bit of excitement to be crushed.
