Knew it was coming. He pulled out a loss yesterday when no one thought it could be done. 2 blocked kicks in the last few minutes of the game turned into points makes me wonder if he might have been sleeping with the special teams coach's wife.

Interesting to see if they go after an established coach or try the coordinator route again.

Yep, Dan Mullen is getting ready to get a Nick Saban level contract offer from FLA.

Then does Miss St go the coordinator route and go after Herman or Morris? Hard to see them getting any kind of established coach but they are paying Mullen at least $2.5 million/year now.

Yes they will go after Herman or Morris. And Miss St. Has a talented team and competitive salary structure to lure them in.
I would think Chad Morris would jump at Miss. St.

established SEC programs dont do coordinators. THey will not go after either Herman or Morris. Not saying we don't have competition, but it isn't Miss state.

maybe, maybe not. IIRC Muschamp was not a HC when he got his job. Agree that they may prefer a HC as opposed to a coordinator but doubt if they will limit their search to just HCs.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Mark Hudspeth get a look at MSU because he recruits the area.

If UF goes after Mullen, I have to believe State first looks at Hudspeth - the guy has been a successful HC at two programs already and has been an assistant coach at MSU.

Morris might be looked at regarding the Florida job but may not be one of the top Candidates.
