I'm not sure any position/schollie is safe, but what decent pieces will HCCM have to work with next year?

Jeremiah Gaines.
Matt Davis
I think we stock up on Jucos for first 2 years and hit trail hard at same time. I see some HS coaches being more open to sending top talent to SMU with Chad Morris at the wheel.

Sweep the place out, hose it down and fumigate.

Wish list for new coach:
-enthusiasm, energy, desire to win
-willing to go out into community and promote SMU football.
-assistant coaches that can recruit and coach,
-D-1 level athletes whose only other offers are not SFA, NTSU, UTSA etc...
-no more 5'9 175 pound WR's.
-recruiting philosophy is not dependent on DITR players
-Indoor Practice Facility
-an offense that is not as old as Spacelab
-can adapt his offense style to his players, if necessary
-players not wearing duplicate numbers lol

Let's just say that there's nothing on this roster that will help the new coach avoid 10+ losses in 2015.

Disagree. With any kind of offense and decent special teams, we would have had a shot at winning 3-4 games.
Next year, 4-5 games is a reasonable goal.

4-5 games is only a reasonable goal if Morris brings in significant upgrades to QB and both lines and provided we get a weak draw from the AAC East Division. Otherwise we'll lose 10+ games next year and there's no one on the roster that can prevent it from happening.

I think next year will depend on how is able to recruit this year. If he can bring in a couple of jucos to bolster the O line and a few butt kickers for D then we might do better than expected.
