Clemson dual-threat QB committ. Ranked as eighth best QB in the country per Rivals. Wonder if Morris would try to bring him with him. He'd play a lot sooner here than he would at Clemson, sitting behind Watson. Morris may have some sort of deal with Clemson where he can't take any of their recruits but who knows.

Honestly, that's fine and somewhat fair. Seems like Clemson has been pretty flexible and we want more kids from Texas anyways. Plus, let's me honest, how many do you think he could pull?!

What if the guy decommits from Clemson and says he only wants to play for Moreis? Can he not commit to SMU?

Beat someone other than TCU that people know of, and don't do it just once every 7 years.

SMU may be in worse shape now than the day June Jones was hired, as we probably have less talent than we did then. However, Chad Morris came to SMU because he knows he can win here thanks in no small part to the 4 consecutive bowl games achieved during June Jones tenure here. We all had more fun during those seasons than during any other 4-year stretch since the death penalty so be thankful and move on. I am looking forward to bowl games, conference championships, and dare I say top 25 in everything we do.

Yes, but I think HCCM might be going after other QB's like Vigil.

I think Chason Virgil is going to be the guy. Kid fits the prototype perfectly.
