#SMU hires @DesotoFB coach Claude Mathis as RBs coach. If you've been on @SMUScout. I've been hinting a big hire was coming. This was it.

Not being critical just curious...how much college experience does each guy have?

we will be light on experience, heavy on recruiting and energy. I will take that trade all day based on what we just had in here. It will be a mess sometimes for sure at first - but I will take those mistakes with real players instead of experienced coaches coaching up poor players.

Haha, sure sounds like you're being critical. These are Morris' guys who he has been around for the last 4 years. Young, hungry guys that know his system. They are going to RECRUIT/RECRUIT/RECRUIT.....enough said.

The only one that I'm kinda nervous about is Craddock. Seems a little ridiculous to promote someone from being a GA directly to OC. Obviously it will still be Morris offense and I imagine he'll call the plays, so maybe it won't even matter. Still a little bit of a head scratcher though.

With #SMU hiring Claude Mathis, watch for them to work on flipping WR Kevin Thomas (Kansas) & Chris Orr (Wisconsin) @RyanBartow

BUT THIS WAS JUST TWEETED

From Claude Mathis regarding #PonyUp job: "Nothing official. Just talk."

Not saying it won't happen. I just know Claude. Meticulous guy.
