Morris also says he will run the 4-2-5 at SMU. Says biggest win at Clemson was the last one against South Carolina.

We need to recruit at least 5 DBs. Oh we also will need at least 2 LBs. And I guess we will need at least 4 DLS. Other than that we are set.

Just a possible lineup that I have no doubt is full of inaccuracies:
DE Zach Wood (SR)
DT Nick Reed (JR)
DT Zelt Minor (JR)
DE Mason Gentry (SO)
LB Jonathon Yenga (SR)
LB Inoke Ngola (SO)
DB Ho Richardson (SO)
DB Ajee Montes (JR)
DB Jesse Montgomery (SO)
DB Darrion Richardson (JR)
DB Shak Randolph (SR)

We've never really been able to find a true 3-4 nose, so I'm all for it in that sense. We need to find some DB's real quick. Back there, we're not athletic, but at least we're slow.

I think this is the way to go- I've always liked the 4-2-5

Stallion: I'm interested in your views - do we have the personnel to play the 4-2-5
defence next year?

I predict that Morris converts some of the OL to DL in the short run. We simply don't have much beef on the DL and there are a few OL (who don't play) close to 300lbs.
Even if we sign some good recruits, the freshman will probably need a year or two to bulk up.

Any chance we pluck a defensive assistant from Fatterson's staff since he runs it better than anyone in the country?

Maybe they send our massive Samoan Jerry back to O Line? i know he wanted to play D Line, so June let him (made some crock about him being a first round pick on the O Line), but he's massive and I remember when he got here all he talked about was how he loved hitting. He couldn't be any worse than any of our other guards and in Morris offense, we need to be able to at least kind of run up the middle.

4-2-5 is the scheme college defenses should be running in this era. That hybrid S/CB/LB guy is going to be crucial for the future development of the defense.

Skeptical of any OL to DL moves. The mentality and toughness of the DL usually isn't there in an OLineman. The only guy that looks the part and has the strength might be the 6'2", 330 lb kid from Houston Lamar from last years class.
