Beyond stupid. They have a loss. FSU doesn't. This whole thing is beyond stupid.

wow. gotta say i am surprised. thought they would be 4 and then be on cusp - no Big 10 in the final 4 will cause ginormous uproar - which would be funny actually.

It's just wrong. They lost to Baylor but don't want to count that loss because it was only by 3 points. Well, then let's throw out the TCU wins versus Kansas, WVU, and Oklahoma because those were close games too.

FSU should jump them again if they beat GT in the ACC champ. Can Baylor move up two spots with a win over KSU?
The whole idea "co-champions" in the Big 12 and TCU going over Baylor is ridiculous. They played each other and Baylor won. Why even play the games anymore?

I hope the whole thing blows up and they renegotiate to go to 8. TV Networks will fork over the cash
Personally when analyzing teams on a national basis rather than a conference Champ level I think some are giving too little credit to TCU for only losing by 3 on the road to a Top 6 team in the closing seconds. The other teams have worse losses. Its more than a TCU v Baylor calculation

But is FSU the better team or is TCU?
I see no problem with it at all. TCU dominated Baylor nearly the entire game before the Bears came back. I still think TCU is better than Baylor, and definitely FSU. The Noles have been less than impressive all season long against lesser competition (imo).
It'll all work out in the end though. No way TCU stays #3 if FSU wins. I wouldn't be shocked to see TCU slip to #5 too if Baylor records an impressive win.
Ohio State's QB injury wasn't considered in this batch of rankings.

FSU did not play well this weekend. They deserved to drop a slot.

i think regardless of how it goes they will go to 8 next year - do you mean going to this year? Too late for that i would guess.
number 5 is going to be hacked. See SMU last year in basketball.

It's only for matchups, they are regonalizing them. Alabama-FSU in New Orleans, TCU-Oregon in Pasadena.

Showing teams they cannot expect to schedule nothing but the incarnate words of the world, not play a champ game, and get into the playoff.

The Big XII needs a championship game badly. But kudos to TCU!

They shouldn't expand from 4 or the regular season will become less relevant. The college football regular season is the best there is
