Donation campaign idea: 10 dollars for gas money!

What better way for everyone, no matter income, to show support and let HCCM know that we support him and his ideas then use his words and help "pay all those 10$ gas bills* his crew will be racking up.

Just tell me how we're going about it. I'll proudly sponsor a coach's recruiting trip.
It would be a great message to the nation if we raised a significant chunk of change (or had a significant number of participants) to show HCCM is not the only one committed to our success. So what's the idea? Where are we funneling the dough?

Agree that the MC should use this hype to spur on donations and put as much money into recruiting as we can.

Donation Campaign: Sorta like Ron Chapman's "Send me $20.00" years ago that raised an astronomical sum.

I have no problem setting this up on a kick starter/ Gofundme and think it might be more effective if it's community driven and not SIC run.
In order to get this started, i'll need to know who the contact at SMU is that would be receiving the donations once this is all done and also some help with the content associated with the page. I'm no Mark Twain when it comes to persuasive speech. Maybe Red and Blue army could help with some graphics?

I lived in Carolina in the 80's and the main fundraising campaign for Clemson football was the IPTAY club - "I Pay Ten A Year." Every car that had a Clemson sticker in the back window had one of these IPTAY stickers in them as well. Maybe we could do something similar..............
