good interview. I wonder if he gets tired of all these people asking almost the same questions over and over.

Part of the deal. Why you have talking points. Easier than "gotcha" questions. It's just about canvassing now. The message is locked in, now just need blanket coverage everywhere we can get it. Just about effort now with the message and dude is just straight getting after it!

same thing happened with LB. I can still remember the outline of his responses
-started when he played for Maguire then Coach Smith -Coach Smith asked him what kind of job he wanted to wind up at -said job was something like Stanford or Duke where it's a great school -SMU was a lot like that -keep the Dallas guys here -wasnt the first choice but oh well etc

some of his other comments:
if you don't have speed you're chasing it. stars don't mean much- did a study and not many 4-5 stars are in the pros.

So "diamond in the rough" is the way to go? That doesn't seem to be playing out for us very we'll right now given the 0-11 record.

The head guy at Orangebloods wrote an article about it a year ago looking at the past 5 drafts. 5 and 4 stars are much more likely to get drafted than non-5 and 4 stars. High 3 stars and low 4 stars are very similar though.

3 stars are not diamonds in the ruff if they are highly sought after
