Anyone heard from Eric Dickerson?

SMU makes a dynamic hire that people are all talking about, and Eric Dickerson is silent as far as I can tell.
Does ED actually give a [deleted] about SMU football, or did he just use us to get a fat payday for his BFF June?

Ed was loving the "I got June to take the job" thing he had going - and now all that pride got flushed. Say what you will about the June - but his players seemed to really be loyal to him.
I would guess ED will eventually come in and visit with Morris and hopefully embrace him and what he means for SMU. If nothing else he should like a system that actually expects the RB to run.

Unfortunately yes, but I'm glad to say neither him, nor most of the current team fell under the June spell. Seems it was the older guys. The players themselves saw the change in June after the ASU debacle and his guru/cult status was gone at that point.

Kids are pretty perceptive and on a deep level, I think they tuned out / turned on him, just like he did to them & the school.

I really don't get some posters here. I really don't. How could you EVER criticize a Mustang football hero like Eric Dickerson? The guy could run over my golden retriever twice and I'd still love him. Go ahead and punch Pope Francis in the gut for fun while you're at it.

Maybe because he threw SMU under the bus to defend JJ.

He very publicly crapped all over SMU, the school, and the program. Nothing positive about that and counter productive.
