Bill Young Denies coming to SMU

YUKON — Yukon football coach Bill Young denied reports Friday that he is leaving to join the coaching staff at SMU.
Footballscoop.com cited sources that said Young would join new coach Chad Morris’ staff. Morris has hired Oklahoma State assistant Van Malone as his defensive coordinator.
“I’ve never even spoken to Chad Morris. He wouldn’t know me from a lump of coal,†Young told The Oklahoman. “I think a lot of people are putting things together because of my relationship with Van Malone.
