New SMU football coach Chad Morris made an appearance Friday during halftime of the Mustangs’ basketball game against Wyoming at Moody Coliseum. Romo in attendance too.

This is cool. It shows him how we support a winner. Glad he got to see Moody. Going to be hard to recreate that in Ford, but I'm ready to #LockArms.

And has not been seen since his hire without SMU gear on.
Met him at game. As you would expect, very approachable friendly and conversational. Exudes enthusiasm and confidence. Talk about a shot in the arm.

Was walking my dog this morning and the former Westlake coach said we got a great one but not to get too attached. Said Austin kids are talking about us now.

He will leave us for A&M - but that's about it. It is locked up for a long time, as is Baylor and presumably TCU.
