Others Could Say This Better

In a few hours the last game of the season will begin in what sounds like miserable weather. Maybe the weather is a metaphor for this season. More than a few, coaches and players alike if reports are correct, will spend their last day on an SMU sideline. The future is uncertain and the news on this message board today seems to be only about things other than the game.

SMU can remain undefeated in football against Connecticut. I happened to see the first game, the "Miracle on Mockingbird."

I don't know if any member of the SMU party in Connecticut will see this before the kickoff, but I for one want wish you the best today and in the future.

Thanks No Quarter. Today is the one bright spot in what has been one of the worst seasons in SMU football history
