You do realize the playoff game was at 2, right? There is a chance several members of the staff including HCCM attended the game, stayed around a little bit, then got hungry from all that work and went to dinner. Eating a meal in the evening has been known to occur, from time to time, and some even say it is part of a healthy diet.
