Future football schedule

2015 - Baylor, UNT and @TCU
2016 - TCU, @ UNT, @Baylor
2017 - UNT, @TCU
2018 - TCU, @ UNT, @Michigan

after that, we have the home/home continuing with UNT through 2025. Probably too late to find someone to give us a home/home series with us visiting them next year and them coming to Ford in 2016, so I assume Coach Morris will want a 7th home game in 2015 which probably means a Southland Conference opponent. Question is whether we can find someone to visit in 2016 that will give us a home/home return trip in 2017 and who would be a good opponent?

So going to that Michigan game. Can't wait. HCCM will have the boys in high gear by then.

I will find away to go to the Michigan game. A game at the "Big House" should be on every football fan's bucket list. SMU playing there helps

Back in 08 we were all looking forward to 2013 as the "BCS buster" year. Hopefully it goes better this time around.

Ditto. Taking my little girl. SMU is undefeated in games that she has attended!

Too bad we can't get Navy in. Rather that than play a Southland opponent.

Navy will be in the AAC next year do we will play them anyway in certain years.

I am hoping we get UCF, ECU and Cincinnati out of the East to play every year.
Then we have NTSU, TCU and BU and its probably too late to schedule a home and home for next year, so we will have to call Abilene Christian or Sam Houston to open up Ford in 2015.

Edit: I noticed that we will rotate the East division teams, guaranteeing a home and home in a 4 year period.

Ah, well forget that idea then. Was thinking it was 2016 for some reason.

We should win the West every year.

Agreed, Navy has been troublesome for SMU in recent years, so we need to get over that hump. Cougar High and Memphis are the hardest games there so those will be fun and hopefully well attended. Tulane will make for a good trip to New Orleans every other year. Not such a bad division in terms of travel.

Navy will be in the west next year? Might as well pencil that one in as a loss :D

Absolutely, it will be great to play a game there. I hope HCCM has our program to where we want it by then.

I predict the 2015 Baylor game is dropped.

Probably after season tickets are renewed like last time too.
