I would really like to see the effort Cardale Jones has put in vs. Markus Kennedy as far as school goes.

He is right. If he doesn't want an education, he shouldn't have been forced (by the NFL) to attend one of the great public schools in the country. If Baseball can have minor leagues, I don't see why the NFL and the NBA can't have them as well.

Back when he tweeted it it was. Has since changed it, that was from 2012.

Sounds like he has a lawsuit against the NFL which is keeping him from playing professionally

Instead he voluntarily agreed to a contractual Grant In Aid which requires that he comply with certain rules in order to be eligible. He can now take his big game tape and apply for NFL Undergraduate Draft this year if he thinks he's good enough. I doubt he was ready for the NFL as a high school recruit-but he should go for it.

This was Big News a long time ago

He wasn't "forced". If he is over 18, he could have tried out for the arena league or CFL. He chose college because it provides a better path to the NFL. He can live with the consequences of that decision.

Oh. I was curious so I looked him up and saw a different Twitter handle. Forgive me if this is a dumb question, but why did you post something from 2012?

It's just funny to me to see the views of Ohio States starting QB and how dirty of a program OSU probably is along with Meyer. It is baffling how much the NCAA just doesn't care at all if huge schools break the rules and we can't even keep a no name bball player (to people outside of the AAC and that follow SMU) eligible.

Nothing new at all it's just amusing. It is more relevant now because he is starting in one of the first college football playoff games ever.

Sounds to me like he's pissed that OSU is making him go to class-how does that make Ohio St dirty?

The CFL and Arena League are not viable options for 18 year old football players. First, both leagues play by entirely different rules (the Arena League is barely football). Second, neither league operates as a developmental league.

While he made the "right" decision, he really didn't have a choice.

So you think Cardale has been minding his P's and Q's and going to all of his classes the whole time he has been at OSU?

I have no idea and either do you or the original poster who made the assumption he's not. I think the better assumption based on the statement is that he likely is unhappy that he is expected to attend class. Why would he complain if he wasn't expected to go to class. Are we assuming that MK was not expected to write those 3 papers because he got on Twitter complaining? Why are we assuming different things based on similar statements

Correct I have no idea. Guess I'm just still bitter about MK being ineligible and when the QB of a huge school tweets stuff like that it just makes you wonder....
