New SMU coach Chad Morris reaching out to former players

SMU coach Chad Morris is working to get former players back on board with the program.
Morris attended Monday’s SMU-UC Santa Barbara basketball game with Cowboys defensive back Sterling Moore and contacted Cowboys receiver Cole Beasley.
“He left me a voicemail just basically saying we’re all welcomed back here and they’d love to have us come back to SMU whenever we wanted to,†Beasley told our Brandon George. “He’s really just opened up to previous players and let them know he wants us around and wants those guys to see us around, so it’s a good thing.
