that was the low point of my experience as an SMU fan. Worst thing ever.

I didn't post for any other reason than I found it by chance and thought it would be good for posterity.

The thing I personally find ironic is that I remember exactly where I was when I listened to the melt down. Subsequently, a few years later I was in the exact same spot when the planes hit the twin towers in New York. I am certainly not comparing the 2 incidents but just pointing out that I recall exactly where I was at the time of both events. It was just coincidence that it was the same place.

Don't ever, EVER, go there again.

Maybe if he walks there backward TCU will explode.

Yep that was 1997. The bigger bed wetting that year was the loss to winless TCU. Admittedly, I know nothing about the 1998 season because I took a five year sabbatical from SMU athletics after the first game in 1998.

I witnessed both. Good times.
