SEC counts independents as P5

Army, BYU and Notre Dame all count towards their one OOC P5 requirement.

Does not make sense to me. Much was written last fall about the fact that the SEC was openly discouraging member from scheduling BYU considering them an inferior non-conference opponent.

Yes...but this is great for Army. They can finally learn from the best. See, their idea of a recruiting violation is giving recruits on a bus alcohol and a few cadet cheerleaders. SEC schools can teach them how it is done...have some of their bigger boosters give up their daughters to whoever has 4+ stars just so they can get an extra lineman.

There FB team is independent, as was Navy.

It doesn't mean they are P5. P5 means nothing if you don't get the money, like ND does.
