Bball team will be there signing autographs, etc. Food trucks, bounce houses - a truly party like atmosphere. I will be there with la familia.

So THIS is how it's supposed to work?!?

Bball team alone is reason to go. Hope a few people will drop by the game. Is 400 too many to expect? I know the gotrocks crowd is welcome in the stadium club - do the peons get to sit in the end zone?

We used to get about 3,000 in olden days when people were excited about the program and they didn't play flag football and practice blocking drills

This is exactly how it's done for Alabama's A Day game (had 90,000 there 4 years ago), well except for the basketball part and that's just a sad story.

I would expect more than you'd think because of recruits/coaches/interest in what ponyuptempo looks like. I'm going to call it right now and say 2,500. But SMU needs to get the move on with the marketing. Come on dang it!

Yeah marketing is poor. Probably less than 5% of the student population knows this is a thing.

More than that, HCCM mentioned it at a BB game and he has been pushing hard to market that day.

Better tell Chad - pretty sad when campus doesn't even know about it. Emails go out to Mustang Club though.

agree with smerkins. Needs to be advertised more on campus. I'm bringing as many students as I can with me

you probably aren't at a Football school if your students can't figure out when the freaking spring football game is around here

Texas-where the two most popular sports are Football and Spring Football but apparently not for SMU fans or June Jones
