He quantified his goals a little more precisely than in past interviews so I guess that's nice.

Not surprising, but year 1 bowl. Afterwards play as a championship level team.

Norm said his usual SMU b.s. in one of his first questions - what are your expectations since you're not in a P5, you're at a school with no recent history of success and you are only going to be able to attract third level recruits. You're basically TCU of 15 years ago.

CM focused on the speed with which they will play and how great SMU can be. Also, he's not very patient.

Is it still BS if it's true? But yeah, he does have a pretty rehearsed SMU spiel.

Yet we were able to land recruits with offers from the following schools:

Florida, Michigan, Oklahoma State, Washington, Clemson, Kansas, TCU, Texas Tech, Cal, Minnesota, Iowa, Kansas State, Maryland, Oklahoma, and Lousville.

All of that coming off a one win season and about a month and a half of actual recruiting time. Someone tell Norm to take his meds.

Can't wait to see what he says about the crowds after non-conference unless we're 4-0

For whatever reason, they really edited this down. The full interview was nearly 15 minutes, and you get less than 6:00 here. He really praised Dallas, SMU....and the great product he has to sell here. Terrific job by Chad!
