It isn't uncommon for a new coach to move players to new positions or ask them to take on new responsibilities. But it's not often that a player who has been as productive as Darius Joseph, who already is one of the most prolific receivers in SMU history. With the arrival of head coach Chad Morris and his new offense, Joseph is entering his final season on the Hilltop learning a new offense and preparing to fill a new role.

Very nice read. Some great insight on what we will see this fall.

Joseph has always been one of my favorites. It will be interesting to see him adapt to his new role.

I can't wait for the spring game!

Excellent interview! He really opens up about what's going on in the program and what we can expect (or maybe what he wants Baylor to expect!?) next season.

I don't think HCCM has said it publicly, but it sounds like Darius broke some news. I don't know that many of us had much doubt, but he makes it sound like Davis is a done deal as the starting QB.

Interesting how he compares and contrasts the systems, and there are a few things in there I hadn't heard before. It's nice to read a candid interview.

Joseph's performance last season was pretty sorry, so I would love to see some others get good enough to push him a bit.
