Do people pay a monthly subscription fee to get that type of expert analysis from the Texas Tech insiders? Is this what I am missing out on by not paying for Rivals or Scout?

If you didn't realize this entire article is sarcasm and a joke, and that it is making fun of the idea of SMU in the Big XII, then I don't think I can help you.

It's just about the least funny thing I've ever read. I imagine this internet toughguy is a fat pimply face creep that still lives in his grandma's basement - smokes pot all day and buys his guns up T-Shirts at Wallmart.

I got confused about what the sarcastic parts were - the SMU comments or the delusion that TT would be accepted by the PAC12 with Texas and OU.

I don't begrudge the author for trying to write a humor piece..... too bad it was so lame. Just shows how deperate these subscription sites are for content that they publish guys with this level of talent.

Gravity will take effect after the Big XII GOR expire, OU to the SEC and UT to the PAC 12 and the LHN will close down. OU and UT dominate the Big XII and know they are the reason anybody even pays attention to it. Losing Nebraska and A&M took the wind out of the conference as a true national conference.

SMU and UH will take their place and maybe bring in Tulane and Memphis to have a championship game. Hopefully we can FB competitive so when we join we don't spend 5 years getting creamed.

I didn't read it, but let's please show some empathy. Please. The poor guy went to Tortilla Tech and is doing the best he can . . . . bless his heart.

Tech is terrible at the one thing a university is really supposed to do - educate people.

Why would we want to go back to a conference with tcwho, baylor, tech rash and the sips? We get no advantage in recruiting or anything else, apart from the money (shorter roadtrips maybe but who cares). Strive to be the best, and get attention from other conferences. We can do better than the big 12.

But if it is between AAC and Big 12 then of course I would tolerate going back there. But if any of the better conferences come knocking...

I wonder if he spells Walmart with an extra "l", as West Coast Johnny does.

Reported in the DMN that big 12 schools will receive between $24.5-26.5 million per school for 2015 which is up from $23 million in 2014. TCU and WVU receive 85% of that amount this year but start receiving 100% in 2016.
