We'll see if this one goes anywhere (though I think we all know the answer already): https://www.insidehighered.com/quicktakes/2015/05/26/unc-receives-notice-allegations-ncaa

SACS has also announced they will be releasing the results of the accreditation review that they warned UNC about in November on June 11. No one expects UNC to have their accreditation flat-out revoked, but it will be interesting to see how severe any probation or discipline is:

Sadly, I fear you're absolutely right.

To paraphrase NY Post Writer Bart Hubbuch: Cleveland State will probably end up getting punished for UNC's sins. #whippingboy

They already got 3 years probation including 1 year bowl ban and loss of 9 scholarships for previous related infractions-but this involves cover-up and failure to disclose much deeper, wider and serious violations. Need to tack on at least 2 year bowl ban and NCAA Tournament sanctions

No bowl bans and no tournament bans.

What about the repeat offender clause? Wouldn't this apply if they are currently on probation?

Given how the NCAA operates I predict due to UNC's problems:
UNC-Charlotte will probably be stripped of their new football team to balance things out,
East Carolina will get a three year bowl ban and NCAA tournament ban,
NC State will lose one scholarship player in their sport of choice,
Duke will get a stern talking to,
and then the NCAA will take UNC out for ice cream to make them feel better

Any chance of linking PSU and UNC to FIFA....might get more traction!

For which school? Northeast South Dakota State, maybe?

These violations were on the academic side. There will be a healthy fine and probation but no postseason repercussions this time around. No repeat offender because these aren't new "allegations"
