Have students and Mustang Band been moved back to the south end of the east side? Seems like that's where they were in the beginning. (sorry if this has already been discussed)

You're right and this is the first I've seen of this.
Personally, UGH, b/c I have young alum tix and being next to the visitors all year = annoying. Oh well.

Yes. I'm terrible. The band was on the north west side and is normally on the north east ish side.

Well, you didn't start the direction confusion.

As for the intent of the original question. Why would the band move there?

My guess is because everyone was on the Home side they put the band near it since the other side was not opened. The band would have been alone over there and it would be super awkward.

OK. I thought the band was moving permanently. I assume it will be back in its normal place this fall to allow for maximum alumni season tickets.

Yeah it definitely made sense for the spring game.

From the above graphic it looks like a move back to the original seating plan from 2000, with the students and band on the south east side.

Bring on the Baptists...I would trade a win against TCU for this one.

Disregard everything I have said in the thread. I never looked at the new seating plan. Derp.

It all makes sense now. I got so wrapped on the east/west thing and the spring game I totally missed the north/south part of it on the east side...

Interesting. I guess it makes sense.

At the very least it keeps the visitors more distant from the food trucks.

They mistakenly flipped the student section with the visitor section. Little mistake. Nothing to see here.
