Interesting...I don't think it's a secret that WVU has wanted a closer travel partner in the Big 12 for some time now (Cincinnati comes to mind). With that being said, I doubt WVU's AD carries much weight around the Big 12 and I don't see Texas and OU wanting to split up their TV $$$ pot with the likes of Cincy or UCF. Now that the Big 12 can stage a championship game with ten teams (which is absurd by the way) it doesn't make much sense for them to add more teams.

Is there any ACC team looking to join that crazy mess?

Highly doubt it. I cant think of any current P5 team from another conference that would want to be in the Big 12

They want at least one team closer to them (Cinci, Memphis, the Florida schools) for scheduling reasons. But, they don't have much power in the B12 to make things happen. If they leave, where would the go:
1) The SEC didn't want them;
2) The B10 and P12 wouldn't want them;
3) The ACC "might" want them and the AAC would like to have them.
