Looks like they are coming to Ford in 2017 and we go to Jonesboro in 2019.

Well that will be a winable game I guess. That's just about the only good thing about it though.

They went to 5 straight bowl games with 5 different coaches. They can be as good as any team in the AAC.

By 2017 the vast majority of our two deep roster will be Chad Morris' players. I'm not worried about Arkansas State.

And if their coach stays they will be all his too. Arkie State plays well and beat the snot out of us the last time we went up there. Yes we should win but this will be a good match up for us.

So long as this replaces an FCS game, I'm good with it. Otherwise bleh

Flashbacks to that horrid 2007 game. Can't believe I stayed at that one as long as I did. Nice people though, for most part.

We are recruiting at a level that is light years ahead of Arkansas State and now we actually have a coaching staff and support system in place to win. None of that existed in 2007. Nice try though.

Also didn't we donkeypunch them like 52-10 or something like that in 2006? I guess that holds bearing for our matchup in 2017 by the same logic.

Um, MRydel is one of the best posters on the forum. Look up Ark States past few seasons on ESPN. I'm thinking we should be a lot better by 2017 too, but they don't suck. I'm pretty sure that's all he was saying.

Chad wants an easier OOC to get some wins and build momentum going into conference play.

Right now our 2017 OOC will be:

vs. Ark State
vs. UNT
at TCU

Probably get an FCS team in there too for the 4th spot, if I had to guess.

Referencing a game that happened when Barry Obama was still a community organizer isn't going to merit any rational response. Sorry.

Would have preferred a home and home with the Hogs. Played them all the time when I was at school there - historical rival, etc etc. Maybe we could be slightly competitive with them by 2017 also (definitely 2019 one would think).

In 2018, we will be going to the Big House to play Michigan. Can't wait to see the game.
