Re: Possible Graduate Transfer from MissouriMissouri profile. Hasn't really played much but he has excelled in track nationally
as a track standout, won a national title in the 110-meter hurdles in the spring of 2010 at the Nike Track Nationals in Eugene, Ore., and was also an indoor All-American in the 60-meter hurdles and the pentathlon . Looks like he then suffered a knee injury though in Senior year of High School http://www.mutigers.com/sports/m-footbl ... 62669.html "With a quarter of a tank of gas, we can get everything we need right here in DFW." -SMU Head Coach Chad Morris

Re: Possible Graduate Transfer from MissouriI will take all the help we can get in the secondary, although they are already injury prone so don't really need anymore help there.

Re: Possible Graduate Transfer from MissouriSounds like good news
Re: Possible Graduate Transfer from MissouriCant be anything but good. A stopper back there who has played at the SEC level can only be good news.
Re: Possible Graduate Transfer from MissouriNeed all the speed we can get on the backend. I think he and Kevin Johnson are dark horses to either get lots of playing time or at least push the other guys to improve. REALLY hope Horace Richardson is the second coming of Sterling Moore/Kenneth Acker. We're going to need him to be IMHO. Or we're going to be watching guys like KD Cannon put on a track meet and "lap" us over and over again. Would love us to just be COMPETITIVE with Baylor for 2 quarters (I can't believe those words are coming off my fingertips).
Re: Possible Graduate Transfer from MissouriPreferably the 4 quarters would be competitive and we would win...

Re: Possible Graduate Transfer from MissouriHe can't be good...he runs track. I thought ya'll said track has no connection to football.

Re: Possible Graduate Transfer from Missouriwho is y'all in that sentence?
Re: Possible Graduate Transfer from Missouri
?????? ![]() He's third string and leaving the program as an upperclassman because he'll never see the field (even with all that track speed).
Re: Possible Graduate Transfer from Missouri
Refresh my memory -- how many d-backs do we have that had scholarship offers from SEC schools? Being recruited over in the SEC doesn't mean you don't have talent.
Re: Possible Graduate Transfer from Missouri
I know this guy is from Missouri, but I can't help imagining what it's like to be buried on the depth chart at DB at a school like LSU. You could literally be a Top 50 player at your position in the country and be 4th string (or worse).
Re: Possible Graduate Transfer from Missouri
Last year Mizzou's 3rd team would have beaten us. At the very least he brings depth until CM's recruits come in/fill out Last edited by Pony147 on Fri Jul 24, 2015 11:50 pm, edited 1 time in total.

Re: Possible Graduate Transfer from MissouriHe may very well start here, mostly due to the desperate need, and lower level of competition. Has nothing to do with the original point that his 'track speed' got him nowhere (third string) at his original level of recruitment and competition.
Hope he comes in and starts from day one if he's the best player.
