I expect us to be MUCH improved over last year.

--actual S&C program

--Head coach running a modern system with ENERGY and VISION

--Assistant coaches feeding off that energy rather than June's lethargy

In one of the preview mags, I saw that another AAC coach said that we had a lot more talent than our record indicated last year...now we have coaches that can actually develop and get the best out of that talent. June's recent recruiting woes have been well documented, but I expect Morris and the staff to get the most out of the JJ holdovers in addition to an exciting recruiting class coming on board.

Hoping for 6-6 and a bowl game in December.

I am interested to see if HCCM can get more out of the JJ recruits that are still here. I think many had potential but between the downturn in give-a-shoot from the HC as he was trying to get out of Dodge and the lack of QB quality, they failed to create results. I think the turnaround might be dramatic.

We have to beat UNT. If we win only one game, I hope that's it.

I think the homecoming game is equally as must win as UNT. Any of the others are nice in Year 1 but not surprised if any of the others dont go our way.

agree that UNT and JMU at home are must wins but to have any shot at gaining momentum in recruiting, this year's team is going to have to find more wins on the schedule. We should be competitive in AAC games. A 2-10 season is not the kind of improvement we are looking for.

At least with 2-10, the cost per win would be less than it was in June's first year at SMU.
