I think I saw that tent down in Waco.
We should set up an SMU tent on Saturdays in front of Mike Caven's Used Car dealership in Georgia.

Posted: Thu Jul 30, 2015 5:34 pmI am surprised anyone can recall the K-State Tent on The Boulevard Bennett's first season. I must confess that was my Boulevard parking spot in conjunction with the DFW K-State Club which is run by an SMU Law grad. I have my MBA from SMU ('87 - '88) so was able to suffer "The Death Penalty" with the rest. Phil got the SMU job not long after his wife, Nancy, had been stuck and killed by lightning while on her morning jog in Manhattan. The Bennett's were very well liked at KSU and we all wanted him to succeed at SMU. Did not work out. but that was the thought of support by those of us carrying purple K-State flags to the game.
I have season tickets at both K-State and SMU and have enjoyed The Boulevard since Ford opened by whipping Terry "Booger" Allen and the mighty Jayhawks...can't get any better if you are both a KSU and SMU alum!
Our oldest son will be on campus as a Freshman next month so I plan on being at all of the home games plus the away game in Ft. Worthless. Stop by spot 82 at the corner of Binkley and Bishop any time for a cold one as the SMU Cox Rugby Team uses my spot for their tailgates...always fun!
Very excited to have Coach Morris as I know many Clem & son fans here in the ATL...
