Home Grown (atricle on Chad Morris)#HammerDown
Re: Home Grown (atricle on Chad Morris)Just read it. I agree with Stallion - on paper, he looks to be the exact prototype of what we should be looking for in a coach that could be a long-term success here - he has everything you would want, including the shared conviction that this program can and should be the next TCU/Baylor. I'm thrilled to have him here. Now I just have to be patient, because in 4 years I think he's going to have this thing rolling

Re: Home Grown (atricle on Chad Morris)I believe he was born in Edgewood, as opposed to "Edgewater" as reported by the DMN. Correct me if I'm wrong, Sandy.
Re: Home Grown (atricle on Chad Morris)Edgewood is correct. Home of the Bulldogs.
Re: Home Grown (atricle on Chad Morris)Great article.
Re: Home Grown (atricle on Chad Morris)Born in Dallas. Moved to Edgewood from Plano when he was in the 6th grade.
Re: Home Grown (atricle on Chad Morris)Welcome to the board, etpony.
SMU-12 NCAA appearances, 1 Final Four
2014-15 & 2016-17 AAC Men's Basketball Champs
Re: Home Grown (atricle on Chad Morris)It's that last line that will make all of the difference for the coach.
Re: Home Grown (atricle on Chad Morris)Pfs go see your own mm65 on the latest edition of the stable
Re: Home Grown (atricle on Chad Morris)I remember the 2003 season in Stephenville as it was my senior year there, let me take this opportunity to say you are all welcome.
Re: Home Grown (atricle on Chad Morris)
Thanks LA Mustang. Been on it awhile but first time posting.
Re: Home Grown (atricle on Chad Morris)Love that first time long time
Re: Home Grown (atricle on Chad Morris)Great article about our very own HCCM. Can't wait to see where he can lead our program to.
Also found the winning numbers of the previous Coaches interesting. Say what you want about Jones, but still has the best winning % and the only bowl games/wins. Also interesting to see that each coach had a better winning percentage up until Bennet took us back to the dark ages: Gregg-13.6% Rossley-23.8% Cavan-39.2% Bennet-25.7% Jones-40.4% #Beat Clemson
