Lots of young/brand new alumni (like me). All of the people I talked to were very impressed with HCCM.

I was talking to a girl I've known since freshmen year and she was impressed by morris. I asked her if she had tickets, she said no. I told her that young alumni were only $75 and she said per game? When I told her it was for the season she said that she will talk to her boyfriend about getting them but was sure they would buy some because "why not they are so cheap". (they were planning on boulevarding but didn't have tickets).

I'm not sure if all the young alumns know how cheap a deal we can get, might be worth another email blast or something specifically for young alumns.

What exactly did Coach Morris say regarding the IPF?

Not much. (If I'm wrong couchem please correct me) He said we need better facilities and that we are working on that with things like indoor practice. Honestly he breezed by it, I was kind of surprised. I feel like if there was a hard date or anything like that he would have talked it up more, but maybe it was just because his audience wasn't really people who would know the significance of that.

He said he's been to Waco and Dallas has a ton more to offer than waco does to recruits. (it was said as a joke but also true)

He also said to not put it on twitter or wherever because it isn't out yet but they have a plan to get students and everyone into the game after the blvd. Involves the team and a game day flag and the students and it starts at dallas hall. Similar to what has been tried, but I liked his spin on the idea a lot. I don't think it will be a game changer but it for sure could help.

I asked the offensive line question... there have been several quotes from him and the staff about 75 slimming down, but he said Hyder has made a very remarkable transformation and looks like he could be a player. He said the OL as a group is going to show the most benefit of the work that the S&C program has done.

He was quick to temper expectations for the year, but made a point of saying that the team will go out and play hard and compete to make the university proud.

I tried to tell you they we're trying to temper expectations, not a 6-6 year expectation because we do not have the talent yet. But they are recruiting well and will get there.

I know that they are tempering expectations, I heard it all spring :).

The reason I think we go 6-6 is because I think Joseph, Weeks, Briggs, Lasecki, McCarty, McCleneghan, Wood, Yenga, Randolph, and Darren Richardson showed that they could be decent players two years ago, and regressed to underperforming last year. The S&C program and coaching staff get hem back to an average or perform level.

I also think that Brown, Hyder, Davis, Sutton, Gaines, Gentry, Minor, Hollie, Lawler, Horton, and Rhone can be very good players this year with the new S&C program/coaches/system.

Sprinkle the playmaking ability of our recruits and transfers on offense and defense on top of that, add that to a favorable home schedule and you have the recipe for 6 wins.

In short, I think we have about 35 players on the roster who are ready to compete at an average to above average level in the AAC, and I think that is enough to pull off 6 wins when we play a lot of the weaker teams in the conference here.

What is it with you and lists and depth charts. You're not proving anything by listing the names on the depth chart of a talent depleted roster. I think you may have a point on the S&C issue which a bunch of us pointed out before you just after weigh-in day 2014
