Not just trying to explain away your ugly attempt at a black jersey:

Beat them re-soundly, shake their hands, salute them as a crowd and let them know how appreciative we are. Welcome traveling fans and give them food & drink. Done. Spare anything that makes you look like the heroes instead of them.

I had some West Pointers with me at that bowl game and I gave them so much to "drink" that they passed out in the 1st Quarter....they didn't even realize they beat us until the next day.

I could care less about the Jersey's and liked that we tried to do something to honor Army, but it did suck losing that bowl game at home.

You should honor them by playing them hard. They are just student/athletes. It is the veterans and those presently in combat who should be honored.

I believe they are enlisted student athletes.

You honor Army/Navy by beating them and applauding their team when the game is over. And of course cheer hard for our victorious stangs.
