After Practice Ice Cream

I saw it tweeted that HCCM got an ice cream truck to roll-up and give our guys ice cream after practice. That might not seem like a big deal, but little things like that show the players how much the staff ultimately cares about their well-being and success and will lead to a cohesive team and winning program. Coach Morris and his staff continue to impress me (from my view afar). #Lockarms.

That stuff is great. Water Ballon fights etc... sure help to perk up the team dealing with heat.

I remember trucks full of ice, watermelon and cold drinks driving on to the field after one practice. I have never had sweeter melon in my life.
Good memories.

I have a periscope account and had signed up for notifications when SMU Football started a stream so I was able to watch it. it was pretty cool - kids came running as soon as they realized an ice cream truck was pulling on to practice field. It's nice to see our staff fully embracing social media. That is critical to building interest from youngsters

Wouldn't it be neat if an armored truck came up behind the ice cream truck with their cash stipends? Anyone remember the $15 a month "laundry checks" during the 70"s

Some players (at other schools of course) bought new cars with their laundry money. They must have really been saving.
