Re: Confidence Saturday - ScrimmageI love how competitive a lot of these clips look. Guys battling for thrown balls, etc. And I love all the full team scrimmaging. I think we might wear down some teams this year with superior conditioning and a rotation of running backs (we'll have probably have 4 rotate with Line, Jones, West, and Durall with Gaines and Castille playing that HB role a bit too) and receivers (lots of Thomas and Castille and even Honey is looking good in these clips - I always thought he might redshirt to put on a little weight but maybe not . . . plus maybe Proche will get some playing time outside of punt returning duties).
Re: Confidence Saturday - Scrimmagesmall request, click through to the actual YouTube page to view, and upvote these videos so that the school knows they're not wasting their resources putting these awesome marketing/promo/hype videos together. recruits see that upvote number as well. when they look at other schools' vids and there are thousands of "thumbs ups" and ours has 3 it's pretty pathetic. it takes less than 2 seconds unless you're on dial up.
Ok this is getting ridiculous...I agree with Dutch on THIS ONE POST by him totally
Re: Confidence Saturday - ScrimmageThat makes me want to put on pads and get out there.
ojai, as for the relievers, Sutton is the guy. He's an absolute stud. SMU-12 NCAA appearances, 1 Final Four

Re: Confidence Saturday - Scrimmage
Oh, I agree. I was just talking about depth and wearing out other teams. I think Gaines and Sutton are of course the go to receivers. I think Thomas will eventually be a stud, too, once it's all said and done with his career here. Really looking forward to seeing what Castille can do also . . . THIS year . . . I "upvoted" the video. Thanks for the reminder Dutch. Let's all do it. Just click on the title link on the above video clip and it will take you to it right on YouTube. Good point, ponyscott, about sharing. I tweeted it out. If you have a FB or twitter, definitely share it!
Re: Confidence Saturday - ScrimmageI haven't seen much of Thomas but I know everyone is very high on him. We have some serious P5 talent at WR.

Re: Confidence Saturday - Scrimmage
who the he11 downvoted that and why? geez. haters gonna hate i guess. always has to be a troll and that was a sick one handed catch by Castille at about the fifty second mark. Ok this is getting ridiculous...I agree with Dutch on THIS ONE POST by him totally
Re: Confidence Saturday - Scrimmage
Castile will be our big play guy with speed. He is not a reliever. He will be an major part of the offense. #HammerDown
Re: Confidence Saturday - ScrimmageLove the coaches enthusiasm! What a difference a year makes!
Long live Inez Perez!
Re: Confidence Saturday - Scrimmage
KT will be an impact player from game one. Made a lot of big catches in practice so far. Dutton will be more of a position receiver. We have 4 receivers with game breaking speed in Castille, KT, Procshe, and Honey. And they are all well polished receivers. On a side mote I heard Alex Honey had one of the best summer workouts on the team. #HammerDown
Re: Confidence Saturday - ScrimmageI agree about the coaches enthusiasm. The high fives, fist bumps, etc. all encouraging/congratulating good plays by the kids. Nice to see.
