The number of changes in the past year are almost too many to count, but the one that I have not seen mentioned here is that we are now in pads and full contact versus the jj no contact drills. You have to think this will pay dividends early in the season?

maybe hasn't been discussed here, but it has on other sites. and yes, will make a huge difference. taking a hit is something that you have to be conditioned to do. you have to know how to absorb it or it can lead to injuries on the field. plus, it will keep recievers/backs from flinching.
this team goes HARD. (go ahead, insert jokes here)
Ok this is getting ridiculous...I agree with Dutch on THIS ONE POST by him totally

It's great as long as no key players go down

If they go down you need to be ready to replace them. Going into the season unprepared has been a beat down. Jones used the OOC as preseason games and you can't do that in college ball.

Baylor clearly sees us as a preseason game per comments from Art Briles about testing out his 400lb full back/tight end. We need a "this is OUR house mentality". Just make it competitive and hit them in the mouth is all I ask.

it's probably the moscow mules talking, but wouldn't it be something if we actually upset the damn bears.
