I think my statement below is correct, but I'm not 100% sure. When Reggie Dupard arrived at SMU, Ron Meyer had just left as HC; however Craig James was still a teammate. Reggie was a 1st round draft pick of the NE Patriots. Ron Meyer was the previous HC of NE, but had just left a year or two prior. He was replaced by HOFer Raymond Berry, a former Mustang. One of Reggie's teammates with the Patriots was Craig James.
