USC QB Ricky Town

Transferring before school even starts as a freshman. There has to be something weird with this story.

Sam Darnold completely outplayed him this summer. Town would have been 2nd QB of the incoming freshman and 4th overall behind Kessler, Browne and Darnold.
Everyone saying Darnold is the real deal. Not recruited as heavily as Town because he went to San Clemente in South Orange County.
I think a smart move for Town.

USC getting full of foreigners = SMU academic ascension.
If only some of their football would rub off. Also LA embraces them since they have no pro teams - and it would be nice to earn that from Dallas soon.
Nobody in the country thinks of south Carolina when you say USC unless they live in South Carolina.

I agree that the massive number of foreign students at USC has had a direct impact on SMU's rise. We could have an incoming class of only Californians that would be better than what TCU and Baylor have now.

Yeah. In a head-to-head matchup, I'm pretty sure the Trojans would cover the [deleted] every time.
