Opening Weekend

Haven't posted here in a long time, but wanted to see if yall are feeling a decent chance against TCU or BU this year?

We suck, so I find joy in rooting for our conference to upset the top teams in non conference.

Hopefully you can shut Baylor up like UCF!

Define 'decent chance.'

We do not have the horses to win against the big boys. Yet. Seeing how competitive we are in those games is what interests me. Morris is bringing a new attitude to the entire program.

You might not be too bad this year. You have new defensive and offensive coordinators this year. How are they doing?

I'm not a fan because the offense will be the same. Taggart is calling the plays. I would have loved to have hired a Chad Morris type to bring in an exciting offense

7 Rivals 3 stars out of 11 recruits so far. Obviously still recruiting well, just like previous years. Were the coordinators the problem or the head coach? Guess we'll find out the next couple years, seems like plenty of talent there.

Looks like they got their 'Matt Davis' with the recent transfer of previous 4 star, UCLA QB Asianti Woulard. 4 star Texas LB commit, Cecil Cherry walked out of Texas practice after 3 days and seems to be headed to USF as well.

Danny Hope ran a pretty good offense at Purdue. I think the defensive coordinator will be the key. Is Ashanti eligible this year?

I think we will be able to hang with Baylor this year at least until it gets out of hand.
