Pretty good overall summary of our 'Stangs...a couple of the defensive guys were out of position from where they will play Rhone and Randolph, but other than that good. I also don't understand everyone hating on P. Line. The coaches seem to see a lot in him and his 1.7 yards per carry or whatever it was is more an indictment on the O-Line and Offense in my opinion. I hope he and all of the other RB's have a big year...as that will = wins.

Enormous Joke(EJ) has people in wrong positions. Has the ponys having a less them 500 year. And of course predicting/wishing line to be replaced. I hope all the rb's have a great season and rotate in. As for starting- Enormous Joke must not be listening to what the coaches are sharing or what Billy Embody tweeted yesterday.

I think the optimists would agree and that is the stated goal of this year's team. I agree with the general assessment that the 2015 Mustangs will finish anywhere from 2-10 to 6-6. I would be really pleased to see this bunch attain their goal of at least 6 wins and a bowl win. Would be a great way to jump start SMU football and Morris might earn some coach of the year attention.

Anything is possible in our conference. I sure wish we played UConn instead of Navy this year (purely from a winnability standpoint).

If your defensive issue is being undersized...playing Navy isn't the worst thing. They do much better against the bigger lines due to their offense. Still, playing UCONN might have been preferred to playing James Madison so.....

The DMN review is great and all. . . but there is just no substitute for the PF.com season preview.

I pretty much agree with everything in the EJ piece.

At this point, it wouldn't surprise me if EJ isn't just trolling knucklehead on purpose

Oh please do tell what wrong positions he has people in. I'll wait. Only thing I can think of is perhaps Shak being listed at the Star.

Also, not sure who our backup SS is but i'm pretty sure it's not Cedric Fernandes???

Overall, really good analysis. I think 4 wins is realistic.
