Not that it cant be done down the line, but sept 4th is just an opportunity to see the new offense, and see lots of room for improvement. My guess is that we will feel somewhat encouraged after the game, only to witness a complete dismantle in Ft Worth.
That will be the low water mark - and it will be generally a slow line up from there.

It would be bigger than Appalachian State beating Michigan back when Michigan was #4 in the country.

Not really true. We totally scrapped our offense from a passing attack to the option in one week. I know Ponyte could detail because he was in the team then. I am sure we had run some option in practice, but this was pretty much a full scale conversion with a true freshman QB in a hostile place. Of course Dickerson and James in the backfield did not hurt.

Baptists are extremely hypocritical, that's why you always take two of them fishing with you...you take only 1 and he drinks all your beer. With that being said, Bennet is the only coach since the DP that had a lesser winning percentage than his predecessor...he was here for way to long.

Hmmm....I know I left that pile of rocks around here SOMEWHERE...
Baptists, Catholics, Disciples of Christ, (Insert Denomination here), are hypocrites. Newsflash, folks. It has more to do with human nature than denomination, or even lack thereof.
Sure glad I get to pastor a church of non-hypocrites...oh wait, it is a Baptist church! Guess we'll just have to put out the "Only hypocrites are Welcome" sign...
