New Updated Roster

Several new names added, some dropped. We are getting to final squad.

Well we did add a JUCO Adam Defrietas with good size 6-1, 210 who in high school rushed for 2,111 yards on 325 carries as a senior. Scored 21 touchdowns and also hauled in 14 catches for 202 yards. Could be an H-Back/FB
and Austin Percy a 6-4 WR- 54 receptions for 935 yards 6 TDs including 7 receptions for 124 yards and a touchdown in Ravenswood's 35-34 victory in the BlueCross Bowl Class 6A title game. Originally committed to Furman
worth a mention although don't know about competition. Its hard for SMU to find quality walkons because of tuition but these guys look like decent preferred walkons

Interesting Simpson and Defrietas are both from California given the staffs focus on Texas, but Cali is one of the top states for SMU students and they are walkons.

The staff would take a walk on from Alaska if the kid had enough ability to even be a scout team guy. While it's nice to have walk ons from Texas, it doesn't matter as much. It's a totally separate issue than kids on scholarship.
